Faces of The Porches: Meet Sabra

BlogSabra

Welcoming our newest Porches family member

There are few people that can say they had the pleasure of growing up in Steamboat and its part of what has made Sabra such an integral part of our team as The Porches concierge. Her experience here over the years has given her a knowledge and passion for Steamboat unlike many others. We sat down to talk to her about what she loves about living in the Yampa Valley and a few of her favorite spots for happy hour, dinner, and more.

Tell us about yourself:

I was born in Homestead, Florida but grew up here in Steamboat Springs. I loved growing up in the Boat. Tubing, hiking, and camping in the summer and snowboarding in the winter. I’ve moved away a few times but I always make my way back. On one of my journey’s away from Steamboat, I found a passion for doing yoga. Since then I became an instructor and it’s still one of my favorite things ever!

What do you love about living in Steamboat?

I love always having the next season to look forward to. Each season in Steamboat has so many wonderful qualities to be thankful for. I also love our community. The people here are supportive, down to earth and REALLY fun!

What kind of activities and hobbies do you enjoy?

In the summer, I love to camp, paddle board, and go wake surfing. Fall is my favorite time of year to be outside. I enjoy almost any activity that gives me an excuse to experience the cool air and amazing colors! In the winter, I enjoy snowboarding, yoga, and eating! Some of my favorite winter spots are T-Bar, Rootz, Noodles and More.

What do you love about The Porches?
