Holidays in the Rockies Artisan Market
December 7th
Join in on a wonderful Steamboat tradition and support local artisans at the Holidays in the Rockies Artisan Market at Strawberry Park Elementary School. Kick off the holiday season with gifts, live music, and a chance to meet Santa.
Visit with Santa
Each Saturday in December
Bundle up the kiddos and head downtown to the Bank of the West lawn to visit Santa in his workshop! Be sure to bring your camera to capture this magical moment.
Moonlight Snowshoe Tour
December 13th
What better way to a moonlit evening than a snowshoe tour? Hosted by Yampatika, this great event takes you on a 1.5-mile hike while guides share the history of Emerald Mountain.
Holiday Festival
December 22nd
Join the Steamboat community in Gondola Square as we celebrate the holiday season in true Steamboat fashion. Watch as Santa makes his grand entrance on horseback and meet his reindeer friends at his workshop. This great family event will also include cookie decorating, a stocking scramble, and live music by Face Vocal Band.
Snowshoe Tour & Holiday Brunch
December 25th
Spend a beautiful morning on a guided snowshoe tour a top the ski mountain. Following the tour, warm up in Hazie’s to enjoy this magnificent holiday and take in the breath taking views across the Yampa Valley.
Torchlight Parade & Firework Show
December 31st
Kick off the New Year (a little early) with your family in Gondola Square. Beginning at 5:30pm watch as the Steamboat Snow Sports School puts on an on-snow parade carrying torches. Following the parade, a fireworks display with light up the Steamboat sky.
