Steamboat knows how to kick off summer with plenty of great events!
Summer is here and with it comes long, warm, sunny days. The Yampa Valley has turned the most magnificent shade of green, the wild flowers are blooming, and the mild temperatures make it incredibly difficult to not spend as much time outdoors as possible. In Steamboat, we celebrate summer all season long with a calendar full of events for the whole family.
Can’t Miss Events:
Mustang Round Up:
June 13th through 17th
The 30th annual Rocky Mountain Mustang Roundup brings over 450 Mustang owners to Steamboat Springs for Father’s Day weekend. Head to the Meadows parking lot as it’s transformed into an autocross course to watch owner’s race on Friday the 15th. The best part about this event? It’s just a short walk across the street from The Porches and you’ll be in the middle of all the action.
Show n’ Shine:
June 16th
On Saturday the 16th, Lincoln Ave in downtown Steamboat is closed down for the Show n’ Shine where you’ll have the opportunity to stroll the street and see these impeccable cars up close and personal.
Reds, Whites, and Brews:
June 23rd
This year marks Reds, Whites, and Brews second year in Steamboat Springs and it has quickly become a can’t miss event. Downtown on Yampa Street, both local and worldwide wineries and breweries come together to showcase their latest products. Tickets start at just $25 for unlimited tasting; making this event both fun and affordable. For those of you staying at The Porches we recommend taking our complimentary shuttle to this event. We’ll drop you off at the entrance to the event and pick you up when you’re ready to head back to your Porches home. No need to worry about parking… or limiting your number of tastings.
Farmer’s Market:
Every Saturday starting June 9th
Local crafts and foods make this event a favorite weekly stop during the summer months. Filled with live music, delicious prepared foods from local restaurants, as well local products, the Steamboat Farmer’s Market has something for everyone. Located in the heart of downtown on 7th and Yampa, it’s easy to spend a day perusing the market before visiting one of several favorite lunch spots for a bite to eat.
